Monthly Club Night.
Our Guest Speaker tonight is Tony Mowbray, who is a Newcastle man born and bred. His love for sailing opened many doors for him including that unforgettable and fatal Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in 1998.
This is fascinating, frightening and amazing story, told by a man that lived it.
Tony has gone on to experienced many other adventures in the world sailing. Completing a solo, nonstop and unassisted journey around the world, is right up there.
This is a gentleman with a truly amazing tale to tell and we encourage all members to come and feel free to bring a guest that may wish to hear Tony’s story. We are sure you all will enjoy his talk.
