The Day 1 PLAN A route is the preferred option, with a PLAN B available if Thunderbolts Way isn’t open in time for the Tour. At this stage we’re hopeful all will be well.

Day 1 – Monday, August 25 – PLAN A

⦁ Lunch 1pm: Walcha

Day 2 – Tuesday, August 26
⦁ Breakfast @8am: Alternate Route Café, Uralla
⦁ 9am: Depart Hotel
⦁ Visit 10:30am: National Transport Museum, Inverell (Most people to car museum, some to explore town)
⦁ Lunch 12:00: Inverell Sporties Club
⦁ Motel 3pm: Servies Motel, Armidale Phone: (02) 6772 0918
⦁ Dinner 6pm: Club attached to the motel

Day 3 – Wednesday, August 27
⦁ Breakfast @8am: Armidale – Many cafés in town
⦁ 9am: Meet at McDonald’s Park, Barney St
⦁ Morning Tea 11am: Bellingen (Old Butter Factory Café)
⦁ Lunch 1pm: Ricardoes Tomato & Strawberry Café @ Blackman Point
⦁ Motel 4pm: Forster Palms Motel, Forster Phone: (02) 6555 6255
⦁ Dinner 6pm: Forster Bowling Club next door to the motel

Day 4 – Thursday, August 28
⦁ Breakfast @8am: Forster – Many cafés in town
⦁ 9am: Depart Forster (Location TBA)
⦁ Morning Tea: Nabiac
⦁ Visit 10am: National Motorcycle Museum
⦁ Lunch 12:00: Nabiac café 
⦁ Drivers: Make your own way home – Safety Fast!

Please note; the accommodation listed is all centrally-located in each of the places we’re visiting on the Tuning Tour, with good off-street parking, and easy access to pubs, clubs and other eateries. The accommodation does not limit the number of people who can join the TT, as there are other options available at each overnight stop. However, we suggest people make their plans as early as possible to save on disappointment.

Finally; we encourage Members who can’t make the whole tour to consider just booking for a leg of the trip, or to meet up with the group at one of the points of interest for a day trip.
