The Passing of Ros Roals
Denny has received word that Ros Roals passed away this week. Ros and her husband Nev (deceased) were active members of our club. Ros used to organise the Mid Week Lunch runs for the Club, which Kay took over from her.
Ros moved to QLD some time ago to be with her daughter and passed away in a nursing home up in QLD.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with her Family at this time.

100 years of MG Special Raffle

To continue with celebrating MG’s Centenary, we are running a separate raffle which will be drawn at the Presentation Luncheon at Club Catalina, Rathmines on Sunday 17 November.
The prize is a special refillable ‘ale’ bottle specially designed for the 100-year Anniversary that was available at the Tamworth National Meeting in April, and which is now filled with fine port.
Dedicated tickets will be sold for $5 each at the September and October Club nights, as well as at the Presentation Dinner. This is a lovely memento, so please remember to bring along your loose change!

The Passing of Brian Madden
We've received the details of the service for Brian, it will be at 3pm on Monday 1 July at Pettigrew Family Funerals 444 Pacific Hwy, Belmont NSW 2280.
=======================================================
Sadly, I inform you all of the passing of our club member, past committee member and good friend Brian Madden.
I feel that Brian is best remembered in our club for the away trips he organized, in particular the visits to Wagga Wagga for G.O.F (Gathering of the Faithful) weekends. Brian always went to a lot of trouble and hard work to give us a tour along the way, taking several days to get to Wagga Wagga when we could have had a one day boring drive.
On behalf of the MG Car Club Hunter Region I send condolences to Ros and family.
R.I.P. Brian
