At the April Club Committee meeting it was decided, after much discussion, that there will be a curtailment of the Club’s runs due to the current fuel environment.
We are increasingly advised to use fuel responsibly, so the MGCC HR will cease conducting runs for which the purpose is the drive, rather than the social gathering of Members. It appears other motoring clubs are also considering taking a similar temporary stance.
Until the current shortage of fuel has been resolved, Club events will be limited to destination runs, for which the purpose is the gathering of Members at the destination. We will review this position on a month-to-month basis.
